Burns' Pizza Shop on Cypress Gardens Blvd in Winter Haven) About this shop ## A Lakeland legend, at home in Winter Haven J. Burns’ started feeding Polk County in 1965, and our Winter Haven shop on Cypress Gardens Blvd carries the tradition east of the lakes: a thin, crispy crust from a dough made specially for us, quality toppings edge to edge, and every pie cut in squares, the tavern-style cut that gives you crispy corners and cheesy middles in the same box. The shop sits on the Cypress Gardens corridor in southeast Winter Haven, an easy stop on the way home from LEGOLAND Florida or a Chain of Lakes afternoon. Families dine in, teams carry out after games, and gluten-free guests get real options: two celiac-friendly crusts, available every day. That is what lets the Cypress Gardens shop serve guests with celiac disease, not just guests avoiding gluten by choice. Nearly any topping works, and just about anything else on the menu can be converted too.
